Cocolat is made from 100% all natural plant-derived ingredients, and is free from dairy, gluten, soy, artificial additives and preservatives, and low in natural sugar. Our patisserie range is also in the free from category, and includes a range of tarts, cakes, choux pastry, mousse and cheesecakes.
We use just 3 natural ingredients to make the original plain Cocolat, and our distinctive range of flavours is enriched with natural spices, herbs, essential oils, fruits and nuts. Cocolat is vastly different to traditional chocolate, which typically has a long shelf life. To achieve this extended preservation, artificial ingredients, additives, stabilisers, and emulsifiers are used, and the purity of cocoa is diluted with the addition of milk solids, refined sugars, and fats.
Cocolat is not only a fresh product, it is raw, which means that there is no tempering or adulteration of ingredients ― common methods of producing traditional chocolate ― which degrade nutrients and enzymes. Our simple process means that our ingredients retain their natural goodness.
